PRELUDE
In 2005, Prelude was our first production. 114 artists - from Africa and Europe - came together under the direction of Monica Maimone of Studio Festi to create an extraordinary performance based on the four elements - Earth, Water, Air and Fire.
WINGS
Wings was created in 2006 in conjunction with AEWA and the UN's convention for migratory species to draw attention to the plight of migratory birds at a time when the bird flu incident had become a media epidemic. Wings was based on the Air element and brought together sacred shamanic musicians from Peru with whirling dervishes from Turkey, Indian dancers and many Kenyan artists.
