The nocturnal chorus for which Africa is famous will serenade you to sleep in your elegant cottage overlooking the mysterious Mukutan Gorge.

The cottages are made from local stone, papyrus, and native woods. Private rooms feature antique Lamu, Indian, Swahili furniture. Textiles from around Africa and India clothe the beds, cushions, and sofas. A fireplace and a private veranda overlook the cliffs. The bathroom offers recessed baths and handmade pottery basins. From the hills, one can hear the waterfall and the calls of a myriad of animal and bird species. An infinity pool rests between the rocks and is fed from the thermal springs below. Solar panels collect the power, although most lighting is by candlelight.
